| There are websites out there that offer
so many options that the average consumer gets confused and will walk away.
You do not need to know everything that we know. Some companies are listed that
have products no one would want.
We try to simplify the process by selling only those products that we
would buy ourselves. When selecting a product or product line, our parameters
are as follows:
Size – is the insurance company a giant and an
expert in this particular insurance.
Probability of Success – some of the best insurance
programs that I have seen were pulled off the market within 24 months
because they were “too good”.
Financial Strength – will they be around in five
years. This eliminates many companies based in the Caribbean where it
is hard to ascertain the true health of an insurance company.
Quality of Product – no one wants to sell policies
that will disappoint you. This process should create good will and we demand nothing
less.
People – much of this comes down to relationships.
Are they trustworthy? Will they bend policy guidelines to pay a claim?
I have found that those that work for insurance companies will work hard
to “figure out” how they can justify the payment of “gray
area” claims to please the us and the client. Most are
hard-working family people that try to do the right thing.
Rest assured that we have reviewed the majority of products in this market.
Those we have selected meet the above criteria and have served us well
for many years.
