Many years ago, I spent the summer in Austria studying German. On a weekend trip to Switzerland, my friend fell down the stairs in our hotel and broke his leg. The small clinic in town wrapped it up. We were on our own. We had to find a way to get back to Vienna and then home.

More recently we had a couple decide to climb an active volcano in Indonesia. They survived the explosion, but had small lava burns on their backs! Car and moped accidents are more common, as are skiing, diving and other sports accidents. Dysentery, malaria, and other illnesses are still too common in many parts of the world.

Because you are young and healthy (sick people stay home!) emergency evacuation, hospitalization and medical coverages are quite inexpensive.

We cover 1000’s of students worldwide each year. If this coverage does not provide peace of mind to those we insure, it sure should provide it to their parents!
